Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to air cleaner assembly (3) . The weight of air cleaner assembly (3) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb).
Remove bolts (4) and air cleaner assembly (3) .Note: For an alternate method of the removal of the air cleaner, refer to Steps 6 through Step 9.

Release latches (6) and remove cover assembly (5) .

Remove filter element (7) .

Use Tooling (B) in order to release clamps (8) .

Loosen clamps (9) . Rotate air cleaner housing (10) and carefully remove air cleaner housing (10) from the machine. Make sure that the straps from bracket assembly (11) do not get bent or twisted while air cleaner housing (10) is being removed.Installation Procedure

B     6V-7935     Screwdriver     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install air cleaner housing (10) and rotate air cleaner housing (10) into position. Make sure that the straps from bracket assembly (11) do not get bent or twisted while air cleaner housing (10) is being installed. Tighten clamps (9) .

Secure clamps (8) .

Install cover assembly (5) and secure latches (6) .Note: Refer to Steps 5 through Step 9 as an alternate method of installation of the air cleaner.
