Check the bore diameter at locations (R) and (T). Location (R) is 6.4 mm (0.25 inch) from each end of the sleeve. (S) 6.4 mm (0.25 inch) from the end of the sleeve
Inspect the bore dimension at several points that are perpendicular to the centerline of the crankshaft. Refer to the standard bore size in Table 7 or Table 8. The following three specific locations are primary points for gauge readings both during the honing operation and after the honing operation.
Check the diameter at location (R) that is 6.4 mm (0.25 inch) from each end of the sleeve.
Check the diameter at the center of the sleeve (T) .
