Connection Procedure

Lift lever (1) until shaft (3) is approximately 19.1 mm (.75 inch) above the face of the governor drive.
Place the cylinder and weight assemblies (2) in position on the governor drive in order for the piston to engage shaft (3).
Lower lever (1) and push the cylinder and weight assemblies (2) on dowels (4).

Place lock (5) in position on cylinder (6).
Install three bolts that hold cylinder (6). Bend the tabs on lock (5) in order to fasten the bolts in place.

Place the gasket and housing (7) in position on governor drive (8). Install the bolts that hold the housing in place.

Lift the governor drive lever in order to install stop collar (9) on bolt (10).
Install collar (9) on bolt (10) and fasten the collar with the screw.

Install the gasket and cover (11) on housing (7).

Place cover (12) and the gasket in position over the high idle screw and fasten cover (12) to cover (11).
