Installation of Extension Harness
Note: After installing the additional camera, the necessary extension harness assembly (3) can be determined. Refer to Table 2.
If not previously connected, connect one end of extension harness assembly (3) to wiring harness (2) behind the operator cab. Refer to Illustration 12.Note: Routing of extension harness assembly (3) must be done so interference with any sharp metal edges, hydraulic lines, or fuel lines is avoided.
The routing path of extension harness assembly (3) will be based on the location of where the additional camera is to be installed. Secure the extension harness assembly (3) along the routing path using cable straps (9).
Extension harness assembly (3) is then connected to the camera cable. At this connection point use a cable strap (9) and clips to secure the camera cable.Enabling the Cameras in the Monitor
Once the camera is installed, the camera must be enabled through the monitor. Use the following steps to enable camera.Note: This procedure cannot be done through CAT ET. The procedure must be completed through the monitor.

Using the keypad, scroll down to select the "Service" menu (21).

Using the keypad, enter the service password (9992) and press the "Enter" key.

Scroll down to "Camera #2 Installation". Change "Camera #2 Installation" from "Not Installed" to "Optional Camera (NTSC)". Press "OK" to confirm the change. If needed, repeat for "Camera #3 Installation".Note: For each camera installation, change the "Direction", "Mounting Angle", "Angle Adjust", "Contrast", "Brightness", "Color", and "Tint" in "Camera inputs" as needed.Note: If the "Camera Inputs" menu settings are changed, check the "Display Settings" menu (24). for the desired settings.
Press "Home" key (14) to return the main menu, view the camera, or to access the "Display Settings" menu.

Scroll down and select "Default Screen Setting" menu (25).

Select "Default Screen Type #2" and change the screen composition and select screen composition to display. If needed, repeat for "Default Screen Type #3".
Verify the camera angle, brightness, and contrast. If necessary, make the required changes through the "Camera Inputs" menu (23) or physically adjust the rear view camera.Note: If the "Camera Inputs" menu settings are changed, check the "Display Settings" menu (24) for desired settings.
The display style of the operator monitor screen can be changed to an operators preference. Push key "6" of the switch panel. Choose between one camera displayed on the screen, or up to all three camera inputs displayed at once.Note: The recommendation is that only one camera input is displayed. The operator is able to change between each additional camera input as needed.
