Information:
1. Raise the machine until the drive axle is just off the ground and install support (4) under the front of the machine.2. Remove bolts (1) located on both sides of idler axle (3). This will allow idler axle (3) with idler bearings (2) attached to rest on the ground. 3. Raise the machine to provide clearance for the removal of the idler axle from underneath. Install supports (5). Remove the idler axle. Weight of the idler axle is 43 kg (95 lb).4. Remove two idler axle bearings (2) from idler axle (3). See the topic, Remove And Install Idler Axle Bearing, in this manual. The following steps are for the installation of the idler axle.5. Remove the topic, Remove And Install Idler Axle Bearing, in this manual.6. Raise the machine and install supports (5). This will provide clearance to position the idler axle under the machine.7. Put the idler axle in position under the machine.8. Raise the machine and remove supports (5). Lower the machine until the drive axle is just off the ground and install support (4).9.
