Install guide bolt (165). Place manifold (166) into position. Install four bolts (167) and the washers that secure the manifold to housing assembly (163) .
Check the remaining clutch packs. Refer to Step 99 for the proper procedure.

Install Tooling (H) and a suitable lifting device to transmission case (168). Attach a hoist and raise the transmission case over the planetary assembly. The weight of the case is approximately 204 kg (449.7 lb). Install two guide bolts (169). The guide bolts should have the following dimensions: 5/8 inch - 11 NC. Lower the transmission case onto the planetary assembly.
Install the 24 bolts and the washers that secure case (168) to the planetary assembly.

Use a hydraulic press in order to install bearing (170) onto shaft (171) .

Use Tooling (B) in order to install snap ring (172) .

Install shaft (171) into cover (173) .

Use Tooling (E) in order to install a new seal to retainer (174) .

Install O-ring seal (175) to retainer (174) .

Place retainer (174) into position on cover (173). Install six bolts (176). Tighten six bolts (176) to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (177) and O-ring seal (178) .
Install Tooling (H) and a suitable lifting device to cover (173). Position the cover onto planetary assembly.

Install 14 bolts (179). Tighten 14 bolts (179) to a torque of 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).

Install yoke (180) to the transmission input shaft.
Install the O-ring seal, the retainer and bolt (181). Tighten bolt (181) to a torque of 240 25 N m (177 18 lb ft).
