Information:

Remove bolts (2) and engine lifting bracket (1) from the flywheel housing.

Remove tube assemblies (3) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (7). The weight of flywheel housing (7) is approximately 100 kg (220 lb).
Remove bolts (8) and bolts (9) .
Remove bolts (4) .
Remove cover (5) and cover (6) .

Remove bolts (11) from the oil pan.
Remove the flywheel housing and the gasket from the cylinder block.Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install a new gasket on the cylinder block. Apply Tooling (B) to the oil pan gasket.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (7). The weight of flywheel housing (7) is approximately 100 kg (220 lb). Position flywheel housing (7) on the cylinder block.
Install bolts (4) .
Install bolts (8) and bolts (9) .
Install bolt (10) .
Tighten the bolts, by using the following procedure.
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt (1) through Bolt (17). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 40 10 N m (30 7 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, again tighten Bolt (1) through Bolt (8). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, again tighten Bolt (9) through Bolt (17). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Install cover (5) and cover (6) .

Install engine lifting bracket (1) and bolts (2) on the flywheel housing.End By:
Install the fuel filter and water separator base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Filter and Water Separator - Remove and Install".
Install the crankshaft rear seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Rear Seal - Install".
