Drain the oil from final drive planetary (2) into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
Remove the bolts and move piston motor (1) out of the way,

Remove bolts (5), guards (8), and cover (7).
Loosen bolts (4). Loosen nuts (3) and lower final drive planetary (6).

Remove cotter pins (9), side plate (10), and master link (11). Remove chain (12) from the final drive sprocket.

Attach a suitable lifting device to final drive planetary group (6). Remove bolts (4), nut (3), and final drive planetary group (6). The weight of final drive planetary group (6) is approximately 67 kg (148 lb).

Use Tooling (A) and remove retaining ring (13) and washer (14). Loosen set screws (15).
Remove sprocket (16) and shaft key (17).

Attach a suitable lifting device to final drive planetary (19). Remove bolts (18) and remove final drive planetary (19) from the plate assembly. The weight of final drive planetary (19) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).
