BRACKET GP-MOUNTING 4382055 - Caterpillar

Step 1. CHECK THE LAMP
Remove the left side green lens.
Inspect the lamp and the socket for damage. Ensure that the lamp is secured in the socket. Expected Result:The lamp and the socket are correct.Results:
OK - The lamp and the socket are correct. Proceed to Test Step 2.
NOT OK - The lamp and the socket are not correct. Repair: Replace the lamp and/or the socket.STOPTest Step 2. CHECK THE POWER CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector of left green light.
Turn the key switch and the "TPMS On/Off" switch to the ON position.
Measure the voltage between pin 1 of the harness connector and frame ground. Expected Result:The voltage is 24 volts.Results:
OK - The voltage is 24 volts. Proceed to Test Step 3.
NOT OK - The voltage is not 24 volts. Wire 799-WH(White) is open.Repair: Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOPTest Step 3. CHECK THE GROUND CIRCUIT
Turn the key switch and the "TPMS On/Off" switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the machine harness connector from the Payload Measurement Control.
Measure the resistance between contact 4 of the machine harness connector for the Payload Measurement Control and socket 2 of the machine harness connector for the green lamp. Expected Result:The resistance is less than 5 ohms.Results:
OK - The resistance is less than 5 ohms. The machine harness is correct.STOP
NOT OK - The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms. Wire 636-GN(Green) is open. Repair: Repair the machine harness.STOP
