Note: The 15.0 hours labor is for removal and installation of the stick cylinder as well as any rework required on the rod and the stop.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Disassemble the stick cylinder.
2. Remove all damaged components from the end of the rod.
3. Inspect the end of rod for damage and verify that the wire ring groove and rod diameter are conforming to the dimensions provided. Rework to the dimensions provided if needed. Refer to Image1.1.1.
4. Remove a max of 1.5mm from the end of the stop if required to reinstall all the new components back on to the end of the rod. Refer to Image1.1.2.
5. Reassembly cylinder using new cylinder assembly and install on machine.
