Check the switch position. The correct position is shown in the photograph. The boom must be fully retracted. If the switch position is wrong, the switch will be broken when the boom is extended.

Measure the clearance (1) between the switch roller and the boom. The clearance must be 6.5 1.5 mm (0.256 0.06 inch).
Keep the boom level and extend the boom in stages. Measure the clearance at each stage. The clearance must be 6.5 1.5 mm (0.256 0.06 inch).
If necessary, add or remove shims (2) in order to produce the correct clearance.
