ReferenceOperation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls (Steering Mode Control)"After a period of normal operation, there is a possibility that the rear steer wheels may drift out of alignment with the front steer wheels. This may affect all of the listed machines that are installed with a self-alignment steering system. The operator should periodically check the alignment of the wheel. If the wheels are not correctly aligned, the operator should manually adjust the alignment of the wheels. Also, the operator should avoid any turning of the steering wheel after the ignition switch has been switched off. This will misalign the wheels as the rear steering wheels will turn independently of the front steering wheels. These instructions are now included in the Operation and Maintenance Manual.Manually self-adjust the alignment of the wheels by using the procedure that is detailed in the "Steering Arrangement Without Self-Aligning Rear Steering" section of the reference that is given.
