Placement of Spider on Hub
Place the 183-7186 Spider Coupling ontothe 183-7182 Hub.
Remove the set screw that comes with theother 183-7182 Hub from the Hub.
Installationof Hub onto Diameter Sensor

Install the 183-7182 Hub onto the 156-4612Diameter Sensor with the 8T-9336 Set Screw. Rotate the 183-7182 Hub untilthe threaded hole on the 183-7182 Hub faces the flat surface on the shaftof the 156-4612 Diameter Sensor. The top surface of the shaft on the 156-4612Diameter Sensor should be flush with the top surface of the 183-7182 Hub.
Mating the Diameter Sensor with theHolder
Mate the 189-2565 Holder with the 156-4612Diameter Sensor and insure that there is proper engagement between the183-7182 Hub on the 189-2563 Shaft with the 183-7182 Hub on the 156-4612Diameter Sensor.
Reinstall the three 155-9625 Screws.
Install the brackets to the 189-2563 Shaftaccording to the table below. Reconnect the wires to the 156-4612 DiameterSensor.

Reinstall the diameter sensor assemblyinto the harvester head housing. Be careful not to damage the 156-4612Diameter Sensor?s wires during installation.
Installation of diameter sensor assemblyinto frame
Position the diameter sensor assemblyso that the two indentations in the 189-2565 Holder align with the twotapped holes in the harvester head frame. Install the two 159-0006 SetScrews and make sure that they align with the indentations in the 189-2565Holder. Apply the 4C-5591 Anti-Seize Compound to the 156-0006 Set Screws.
Installation of clamps (2)
Position the two clamps (2) as shown inillustration above. Install the four bolts, but do not tighten the fourbolts. Install the set screw in the clamp (2) and bracket (3).

Bracket(3) Sweep with Respect to Frame
Carefully rotate the knife to the fullyclosed position (rotate the stud on the delimbing knife cylinder valvewith a 9mm wrench to open and close the knives). Adjust the clamp (2) sothat there is proper clearance between the bracket (3) and the harvesterhead frame. Rotate the knife to the fully opened position and verify thatthere is proper clearance between the bracket (3) and the harvester headframe. If the clearance is more than 3-4mm on each side, adjust the clearanceso that it is evenly spaced on both sides. Once you have verified the clearance,tighten the four bolts on the clamp (2). Then using 4C-5591 Anti-SeizeCompound tighten the set screw (5) that attaches the bracket (3) to theclamp (2). Install the two set screws (6) that thread into the clamp (2)and frame.
Reinstall the guard (1).
Repeat procedure on other delimbing knifeif applicable.
Test and Adjust
Reconnect the cables to the back of theDASA.
Diameter Sensor Adjustment Screen
Ensure that the sensors are functioningcorrectly by verifying that the "Encoder-value" increases as the knivesclose (see SEBU7219 "Instruction Manual for 380" ? "Adjusting Diameterand Length Measuring, Diameter and Length Measuring Menu, Diameter AdjustingMenu"). If the "Encoder-value" does not increase as the knives close, thenbegin by verifying the wiring connections to the 156-4612 Diameter Sensor.
If necessary, ensure that the delimbingknife speed is correctly set (especially if the delimbing knife stops weredamaged). If the machine was properly calibrated before the rework procedureand NO changes were made
