Disassemble Procedure
Start By:
Remove fuel transfer pump.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

Remove drive coupling (1) and O-ring seal (2).
Remove cap (6), washer (5), spring (4), and poppet valve (3).

Remove bolts (8) and head (7).

Remove check valve (9) from head (7).

Remove plate (10) and the O-ring seal.

Remove bushings (14), idler gear (11), and drive shaft (12).
Remove terminal bushings (13) if necessary.

Remove outer lip seal (15) and inner lip seal (16).
