Harvester Head (1) Damper. (2) Rotator. (3) Felling link. (4) Hydraulic cylinder. (5) Frame.The felling link consists of damper (1), rotator (2), felling link (3) and hydraulic cylinder (4) .Damper (1) is connected to the stick of the machine and rotator (2). Rotator (2) is fixed to the upper part of felling link (3). The bottom part of felling link (3) is hinged to frame (5) of the harvester head. The position of the harvester head is determined by hydraulic cylinder (4) .The valve that controls cylinder (4) has three different positions. When one of the solenoids is activated, the harvester head tilts upward. When the other solenoid is activated, the harvester head tilts downward. When neither solenoid is activated, the harvester head floats.
Avoid swinging the unit too far as this may stretch and damage the cables between the tip of the stick and the harvester.
