BRACKET AS 4C8161 - Caterpillar

1. Install the O-ring seals on four fittings (6). Install the fittings in steering metering pump (8).2. Put steering metering pump (8) in position on the support bracket, as shown. Install two bolts (5) and the washers that hold steering metering pump (8) to the support bracket.3. Connect four hose assemblies (7) to steering metering pump (8). 4. Support the instrument panel and connect electrical connector (4) to the instrument panel electrical harness. 5. Put instrument panel (3) in position in the cab, as shown. Install the four bolts and the washers that hold instrument panel (3) to the cab. 6. Put steering wheel and boss assembly (2) in position on the steering metering pump. Install four bolts (1) and the washers.7. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.End By:a. Remove the steering frame lock pin. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock Pin - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
