Locate plug (1) that is next to the "LS2" port on the upper face of the main control valve.
Clean the area around plug (1) to prevent contamination entering the valve.
Remove plug (1) to gain access to the shuttle valve. The shuttle valve is part of the load sensing system for the brake and cooling fan systems hydraulic circuits.
Using a 5 mm (0.197 inch) hexagon key wrench, remove the shuttle valve.
Install a new 474-0524 Shuttle Valve Group . Torque the valve to 10 N m (89 lb in).
Replace plug (1) .

Locate plug (2) that is immediately above check valve (3) on the front face of the main control valve.
Clean the area around plug (2) to prevent contamination entering the valve.
Remove plug (2) to gain access to the shuttle valve. The shuttle valve is part of the load sensing system for the hoist, brake, and cooling fan systems hydraulic circuits.
Using a 5 mm (0.197 inch) hexagon key wrench, remove the shuttle valve.
Install a new 474-0524 Shuttle Valve Group . Torque the valve to 10 N m (89 lb in).
Replace plug (2) .

Remove plug (4) to gain access to the shuttle valve which is part of the load sensing system for the steering and hoist hydraulic circuits.
Using a 5 mm (0.197 inch) hexagon key wrench, remove the shuttle valve.
Install a new 474-0524 Shuttle Valve Group . Torque the valve to 10 N m (89 lb in).
Replace plug (4) .
Lower the operator cab, check the hydraulic system oil level, start the engine and check for oil leaks.Shuttle Valve Replacement 725C, 730C and 730C EJ Articulated Trucks
Reference Table 1 for the machine you are working on, relieve the hydraulic system pressure and raise the operator cab.

Locate plug (7) that is immediately below port (6) at the upper right -hand corner of the front face of the main control valve.
Clean the area around plug (7) to prevent contamination entering the valve.
Remove plug (7) to gain access to the shuttle valve. The shuttle valve is part of the load sensing system for the hoist, brake, and cooling fan systems hydraulic circuits.
Using a 5 mm (0.197 inch) hexagon key wrench, remove the shuttle valve.
Install a new 474-0524 Shuttle Valve Group . Torque the valve to 10 N m (89 lb in).
Replace plug (7) .
