Weld Specifications
Clean the area that will be welded. Make sure that the substances that follow are removed from the area that will be welded:
Oil
Grease
Paint

Weld 357-2808 Angle (9) to the existing support tube (A). See Illustration 1 and 2 for weld and position details.Note: Keep the top surface of 357-2808 Angle (9) level with the top surface of support tube (A) .
Repeat Step 1 for the three other support tubes (A) .

Drill four 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) holes (C) on the surface of rear cross tube (B). Refer to Illustration 3 for the placement of the four holes.
Insert four 4E-2935 Weld Nuts (1) into the four drilled holes. Weld around weld nut with a weld size of 3mm.

Canopy frame (B) Rear cross tube (7) 356-4838 Gasket
Apply Loctite 454 (10) to the top side of 357-2808 Angle (9) and support tube (A). Loctite 454 (10) should be applied in an even layer along the length of 357-2808 Angle (9) and support tube (A) .
Lay 356-4838 Gasket (7) on 357-2808 Angle (9) and support tube (A). Align the gasket holes with angle bracket holes. Refer to Illustration 4.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 in order to adhere the three remaining gaskets to the three remaining brackets.

Rear cross tube (8) 356-4839 Gasket
Apply Loctite 454 (10) to top side of rear cross tube (B). Loctite 454 (10) should be applied in an even layer along the length of rear cross tube (B) .
Lay 356-4839 Gasket (8) on rear cross tube (B). Align the gasket holes with angle bracket holes. Refer to Illustration 5.
Put 356-4837 Canopy Gp (Plastic) (6) on the frame.
Drill the clearance holes for the mounting bolts in 356-4837 Canopy Gp (Plastic) (6) .
Place 356-4837 Canopy Gp (Plastic) (6) on the frame in the intended mounting position.
Mark the location of the holes on the bottom side of the canopy with a marking pen. Use the corresponding mounting holes on the canopy frame to locate the holes.
Remove 356-4837 Canopy Gp (Plastic) (6) from the frame.
Use a 14 mm diameter drill bit to make the holes through the canopy at the marked locations.
Secure the front section of the canopy using the following hardware: 8T-4183 Bolts (3), 8T-4223 Hard Washers (4) and 6V-7687 Locknuts (2) .
Across rear cross tube (B) secure the canopy with the following hardware: four 8T-4286 Bolts (5) and four 8T-4223 Hard Washers (4) and four. Torque bolts to half of standard torque.
