Install the drain hose as shown in illustration 7.
Install 525 mm (21 inch) of hose (15) to elbow fitting (13) thatwas previously installed in the bottom of the motor cover.
Use hose clamp (14) to secure the hoseto the fitting.
Remove the bottom bolt from cover (16).Remove the bolt and washer. Leave the existing ladder clip in place.
In the following order, install bracket (22) andthe washer that was previously removed over the ladder clip. Installthe new 8T-4196 Bolt (21) into the vacant bolt hole. Torque the bolt to the standardtorque. Ensure that the orientation of the bracket is at a right angleto the cover.
Use bolt (18), nut (19),and two hard washers (20) to secure clip (17) tothe previously installed bracket. Thread the hose through the clipas shown in the above Illustration. Torque the nut to the standardtorque.Ensure that the hose is not taut between the fitting and clip.A subtle radius in the hose between the fitting and the clip ensuresthat the hose will not pull away from the fitting during operation.Use Heat Shrink to Seal the Motor Control Harness Connector
Obtain approximately 60 mm (2.4inch) of 9X-8243 HeatShrink Tube for this procedure.

Remove connector (23) from the controlmodule. Use a pair of diagonal cutters to cut the tie wrap that issecuring the harness to the ladder clip.

Heat shrink tubing on the harness
Slide the piece of heat shrink tubing over the connectorand onto the harness. Connect the harness connectors.

Positioning the heat shrink tubing prior to heating
Slide the heat shrink tubing over the connectors at thecontrol module.Note: Ensure that the end of the tubing is pressed firmly againstthe housing of the control module on all sides before you proceed.

First, seal the tubing around the connectors
Beginning at the control module end of the heat shrink tubing,heat the tubing around the connector. Apply the heat until the tubingcompletely seals the connectors. Be sure to heat the tubing from severaldirections in order to seal the connectors.

Second, heat the end of the tubing before heating the center
From the opposite end of the heat shrink tubing, begin toheat the tubing around the harness. Apply the heat until the tubingcompletely seals the harness and harness grommet. Be sure to heatthe tubing from several directions in order to seal the connectors.

As the heat shrink tubing forms around harness, ensure thatthe ends of the tubing seals properly around the harness. Ensure thatthe glue from the inside of the tubing oozes from between the harnessand the tubing.
Reinstall the ladder clip. Securely fasten the harness tothe ladder clip with a new 7K-1181 CableStrap . Cut the
