1. Disconnect and remove oil line (1) from the transmission oil filter and the transmission oil pump.2. Put identification on the wires as to their location on the electric starting motor. Disconnect the wires from the starting motor. 3. Fasten a hoist to the electric starting motor. Remove the three bolts that hold the electric starting motor to the flywheel housing. Remove electric starting motor (2). Weight of the starting motor is 80 lb. (36 kg).Install Electric Starting Motor
1. Fasten a hoist to electric starting motor (1). Put the gasket and electric starting motor (1) in position on the flywheel housing. Install the three bolts that hold the electric starting motor to the flywheel housing.2. Connect the wires to the electric starting motor. Make sure the wires are in the correct positions.3. Install the oil line between the transmission oil pump and the transmission oil filter.
