Install a wood block between sprocket (8) and final drive cover (9) .

Loosen hub assembly (15) by using a puller tool that has three points.

The sprocket is installed with a pressure of 400 kN to 445 kN (89930 lb to 100040 lb). You must stay away from the area of the sprocket while the sprocket is loosened from the hub with tool (A) .

Typical Example
Install nut (14) onto the hub. Nut (14) is used as a stop in case there is a failure of the sprocket during removal of the sprocket with tool (A) .
Install tool (A) on the end of the sprocket shaft and sprocket (18), as shown.
Loosen the sprocket with tool (A) .
Remove tool (A) and nut (14) .
Attach an appropriate lifting device and a hoist to the sprocket.
Remove the sprocket from the hub. The weight of the sprocket is 144 kg (320 lb).
Remove the hoist from the sprocket.

Remove Duo-Cone Seals (19). Put identification on the seals for correct installation.

Typical Example
Use the following steps in order to remove the extension assembly that is on the machines that are Low Ground Pressure.
Attach an appropriate lifting device and a hoist to extension assembly (20) .
Remove bolts (21) that hold the extension assembly to the final drive case.
Remove the extension assembly. The weight of the extension assembly is 25 kg (55 lb).
