Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Type 1

Lubricate O-ring seals (10) and (11) on tube assemblies (9) and (7) with clean engine oil or glycerin.

Install engine oil pump (8) on the cylinder block. Install tube assemblies (7) and (9).

Lubricate O-ring seal (5) on tube assembly (2) with clean engine oil or glycerin.

Put bell assembly (2) in position in the engine oil pump. Install bolt (1).
Put support (4) in position on the tube assemblies and install three bolts (3). Type 2

Lubricate the O-ring seal (9) on tube assembly (5) and the O-ring seal on tube assembly (4) with clean engine oil or glycerin.

Install engine oil pump (8) on the cylinder block.
Install bell assembly (5).

Install tube assembly (3). Install the bolt and nut (1). End By:
Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pan - Remove and Install".
