Parameter Setting Procedure - Bucket Width and Radius
This section will display the procedure to calibrate the bucket width and bucket radius for the E-Fence system using the machine monitor.
Turn on the machine.
Press "Main Menu" key on the monitor.
Select "Service" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key. Enter "FFF2" in the password screen.
Select "Configurations" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key.
Select "Front Control" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key.
Select "Bucket Radius" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key.
Input the bucket radius that was previously recorded in Table 5. Press "OK" key.
Select "Bucket Width" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key.
Input the bucket width that was previously recorded in Table 5. Press "OK" key.
The bucket width and bucket radius parameters are now set in the E-Fence system. E-Fence Calibrations
Front Linkage Position Sensor - Calibration
Position the machine on level ground.
Ensure enough area around the machine to prevent interference with the surrounding environment during implement movement.
Enter the "Service" menu on the monitor.
Enter password "FFF2".
Select "Calibrations" menu.
Select "Front Linkage Position Sensor" from the "Calibrations" menu. Press "OK" key.
Step "0" will appear briefly on the monitor as the machine ECM moves to test mode. Press "OK " key.
Step "1" Ready to Start will appear on the monitor. Press "OK" key.
Position the machine according to instruction shown on the screen. Press "Next" button to continue through to the next step. Note: If the machine is equipped with a Power Offset Boom, set the Offset: Right End at maximum extension.
Position the machine according to instruction shown on the screen. Press "Next" button to continue through to the next step. Note: If the machine is equipped with a Power Offset Boom, set the Offset: Left End at maximum retraction.
If calibration was successful and no errors occurred, the display will indicate that the calibration is complete.
The "Error" screen will be displayed on the monitor if an error occurs. The process of calibration will not be saved and the process must be restarted. Calibration Preparation - Pilot Limiting Valves
Position the machine on level ground.
Ensure enough area around the machine to prevent interference with the surrounding environment during implement movement.
Turn the machine Off.
Connect one 3447 kPa (500 psi) pressure sensor (B2) to boom up limit PRV pressure tap (6) on the proportional reducing valve manifold (9).

This section will display the procedure to calibrate the limit valves for the E-Fence system. This procedure must be performed if a limit valve is serviced or replaced.
Start the engine.
Press "Main Menu" key on the monitor.
Enter the "Service" menu on the monitor.
Enter password "FFF2".
Select "Calibrations" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key.
Select "Pilot Press Limit Solenoid" on the monitor screen. Press "OK" key. The pilot pressure limit solenoids will be displayed on the monitor screen.
Select "Boom Cyl Extend" from the "Pilot Press Limit Solenoid" menu.
Follow the instructions on the monitor
