1. Remove drain valve plug. Open valve and allow oil to drain. 2. Remove cover. 3. Remove ring and filler strainer. Wash strainer in clean solvent. Install strainer and ring. 4. Change filter element. (See item 38.)5. Close drain valve.6. Clean and install drain valve plug. 7. Fill tank to FULL mark in sight gauge. See REFILL CAPACITIES. Install filler cap. 8. Operate machine a few minutes and check oil level when oil is warm. Maintain oil level at FULL mark in sight gauge. Add oil if necessary.(42)Transmission, Trailing Unit And Brake Hydraulic System

Run engine to warm oil. Park machine on level and apply parking brake. Stop engine.
Use caution when draining oil. Hot oil can cause personal injury.
1. Remove hydraulic tank drain plug and open drain valve. Allow oil to drain. 2. Remove transmission drain plug. Allow oil to drain. 3. Remove torque divider drain plug. Allow oil to drain. 4. Remove cover and screen. 5. Remove screen from cover and wash in clean solvent. Install screen on cover. DO NOT CRUSH SCREEN. 6. Check cover gasket. Use new gasket if necessary. Install cover.7. Change filter elements. (See item 34.)8. Close drain valve and install drain plugs. 9. Remove tank filler cover and screen. Wash screen in clean solvent.10. Shake or use pressure air to dry screen.
When using pressure air, wear safety face shield and protective clothing. Use 30 PSI (2 kg/cm2) maximum pressure air for cleaning purposes.
11. Install screen in tank. Install cover.12. Fill tank. See REFILL CAPACITIES. 13. Check oil level with engine running at low idle, oil warm and transmission in NEUTRAL. Maintain oil level at FULL mark in sight gauge. Add oil if necessary.772

Install screen and hose.7. Change filter elements. (See item 34.)8. Close drain valve and install all drain plugs. 9. Remove tank filler cover and screen. Wash screen in clean solvent.10. Shake or use pressure air to dry screen.
