Inflate tires to correct pressure. Investigate travel route for overpass clearances. Make sure there will be adequate overhead clearance.
Block trailer or rail car wheels before loading.Stop engine, turn disconnect switch OFF and remove key.Block wheels and secure truck with tie-downs.Wire the accelerator in shut off position.Use extreme care to avoid slipping if loading dock or ramp has ice, snow, grease or oil on it.Check with authorities for weight limits and overhead clearance of proposed route.Block and tie truck securely.Observe all safety regulations.Remove ice, snow or other slippery material from loading bed, before loading, to prevent truck slipping in transit.Cover exhaust opening.Check regulations covering transportation of cylinders containing compressed gas (Suspension cylinders.)Towing
