The cable assemblies used to support the cab riser and cab may pull apart. The use of these cables may result in an unsafe situation. Any machine equipped with these cables should be serviced immediately to remove the cab riser cables.Solution:
The 122-4913 and 130-2090 Cable Assemblies are a part of the cab riser groups on the listed models. These two cables are used to provide support of the cab riser and cab when the cab riser is tilted for shipping or to service the generator.Remove all cables from the appropriate cab riser groups and return to Caterpillar at the following address along with the machine PIN and dealer information attached to the cables.Caterpillar Inc.
