Install the assembled control pod onto the Control Adjuster Gp (AR). Secure the control pod with three Bolts (AH), three Hard Washers (AJ), and three Nuts (44) .

Install the Control Harness As (AK) into the assembled control pod. Secure the harness with 7 of the Cable Straps (1) .Connect the Handle Control Gp (17) to the E-C10 connector (part of AK) .

Install the Cover (19). Secure the cover with the original Screws (AD) .Secure the Control Harness As (AK) to the Cover (19) with 1 Bolt (AE), 1 Nut (AG) and 2 Hard Washers (AF) .

Remove the Plug (AT) from the front instrument panel. Connect the C-C102 connector (part of AS) to the Rocker Switch (12). Install the Rocker Switch into the open slot in the instrument panel.

Remove the Plug (AU) from the upper panel. Connect the C-C60 connector (part of AV) to the Rocker Switch (10). Install the Rocker Switch into the open slot in the panel.Software Configuration and Calibration of the Control Lever and Valve
Note: This feature is a configurable feature that must be activated with PSPS or a service tool.Note: The implement for the third function must be available so that this installation procedure may be completed. This procedure is necessary so that final calibration of the control lever and valve may be completed.

Service connector for the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET)
Use a Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET) and select the proper Electronic Control Module.
Select "SERVICE" from the menu.
Select "CONFIGURATION" from the menu.
Double click on the desired feature on the configuration screen.
Select the desired status of the feature and click "OK".Note: This feature will be activated on the next power cycleVerify Machine Operation and Return to Service
Refill the implement hydraulic system. Refer to Operations and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Oil-Change" for your machine, for the correct procedure.

Raise the lift arm to a suitable height to remove blocking. Remove blocking and lower work tool to the ground.
Disconnect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock- Separate and Connect"for your machine, for more information.

Shut down and remove the Lock out/Tag out equipment from the machine. Remove any "Do Not Operate" warning tags or similar warning from the start
