CTP 7E8830 Bracket Fan for Models 534B, 836, 988B
CTP Improved fuel efficiency, up to 1.5% depending on the application and duty cycle || Individually reverse each blade by simply pushing inward (towards the hub) to compress the spring and then begin to rotate the blade; it should only turn in one direction || Once the blade begins to rotate, you no longer need to keep pushing inward; continue to turn the blade toward the desired position; continue to reverse the remaining blades so that they are all in the same position || Once the blade is rotated fully to the desired position, the blade will "spring" outward and lock itself into place; Now the blade will not be able to be turned around without pushing it inward again; The reversing of one blade is now complete || Now that all of the blades have been reversed, the fan will force the air in the opposite direction. You are now ready to re-install the guarding, unlock the ignition switch, and continue operating the equipment with increased comfort

Information:
All 3400 Series D.I. EnginesDescription of Change: New fuel nozzle adapters are now used in the cylinder head groups on the above engines. The new adapters are made from a new steel with no lead in it. This new steel will give the nozzle adapter a longer service life. Formerly, the nozzle adapters were made from a leaded steel. Reports show that the lead in this steel was possibly the cause of cracks in the former adapters.
Adaptable To: The new nozzle adapters are direct replacements for the former nozzle adapters as shown in the chart. Some of the former 1W7884 and 1W7885 Nozzle Adapters were made with the new steel. These can be identified by the marks: 1W7884 - #12, 13, 14 etc.1W7885 - #8, 9, 10 etc.
Those former adapters with numbers below the ones shown are made with the former steel.
Our recommendation is that the adapters made with the new steel be installed in engines, in place of adapters made with the former steel.
