(1) Gear motor for the rear axle lubrication (2) Inlet (3) Outlet (4) DrainGear motor (1) for the rear axle lubrication is located on the front of the rear axle and to the left of the transmission. Oil from the control manifold for the rear axle lubrication enters gear motor (1) through inlet (2). The oil turns two gears located inside gear motor (1). The gears turn the gear pump next to gear motor (1). The gear pump then pumps lubricating oil to the rear axle. The oil exits gear motor (1) through outlet (3) and is sent back to the control manifold. Excess oil from the drain (4) is sent back to the hydraulic tank.
