1 4 372-5858 Band Clamp Use the following procedure in order to tighten the turbine clamp assembly:
Before assembly, lubricate the threads with Loctite C5A copper anti-seize.
1. Tighten first nut of the band clamp to 17 turns, such that approximately 10.0 mm (0.39 inch) of exposed threads remaining beyond the nut.
2. Tighten second nut of the band clamp to 20 N m (177 lb in).
3. Tighten first nut of the band clamp to 20 N m (177 lb in).
4. Gently hit around the band clamp assembly with a soft hammer.
5. Again, tighten first nut of the band clamp to 30 2 N m (266 18 lb in).
6. Again, tighten second nut of the band clamp to 30 2 N m (266 18 lb in).
7. Again, gently hit around the clamp assembly with a soft hammer.
8. Again, tighten both the nut of the band clamp assembly to 30 2 N m (266 18 lb in).
2 48 293-5490 Bolt Before assembly, lubricate the threads with Loctite C5A copper anti-seize.
Tighten clamp plate bolts to 40 3 N m (30 2 lb ft).
3 4 330-9746 Connector As Before assembly, apply black Loctite Gasket Maker #2 to the threads.
