Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

The O-ring seal must be in position on the front of oil pump (3) .
Put oil pump (3) in position on the torque converter housing. Install two bolts (6) .

Make sure that the O-ring seals are in position in hose assemblies (1), (2), and (5), and in flange (4). Connect the hose assemblies to the oil pump.
Fill the transmission and bevel gear with oil to the correct level. Refer to the Operation And Maintenance Manual for all fluid capacities and the proper filling procedures.
Install the rear bottom guard.
Install the floorplate.
