Change the flow that is being calibrated from the "MAX" calibration to the "MIN" calibration. Highlight line 3 and use Menu key (6) in order to move the portion of line 3 that is highlighted to the right. This is shown in illustration 23. Use Left key (3) or Right key (4) to change the calibration from "MAX" to "MIN".

In order to Begin the calibration, press Down key (2). This will highlight line 4.
Press OK key (8). The initial value for the calibration will be displayed on line 4.
Actuate the proper control in order to activate the work tool.
Adjust the setting of the flow meter load valve and observe pressure gauge (23). Adjust the setting until the pressure gauge indicates 16000 kPa (2320 psi). Pump pressure is affected by the flow and the open rate of the flow meter load valve. The flow meter load valve must be adjusted when a change of calibration is made. When you adjust the calibration value and the open rate of the flow meter load valve setting, always return the tool to the neutral position and repeat the calibration.
Release the control that was used to activate the work tool.
Actuate the proper control in order to activate the work tool again. Do NOT change the setting of the load valve on the flow meter.
Observe pressure gauge (23) and verify that the pressure is 16000 1000 kPa (2320 145 psi).
If the pressure is out of the proper range, adjust the load valve on the flow meter until the pressure gauge indicates 16000 kPa (2320 psi). Repeat Step 29 to 33. The pedal must be cycled several times.
If the pressure is 16000 1000 kPa (2320 145 psi), now adjust the value on line 4 of the monitor. Press Left key (3) or Right key (4) in order to adjust the value on line 4.On the 318C, the flow changes approximately 1 L/min (0.3 US gpm) when each key is pressed. It is possible to correct the flow control pressure from +60 kPa (+8.5 psi) to -60 kPa (-8.5 psi) with the monitor.Observe the flow meter while the keys are pressed. Press the key until the flow meter reads 80 L (22 US gal)..
If the maximum adjustment that is possible with the monitor is reached and the flow has not reached 80 L (22 US gal), repeat Step 29 to Step 35. When the flow meter reading of 80 L (22 US gal) is obtained, proceed to step 37.
Release the control that was used to activate the work tool.
Actuate the proper control in order to activate the work tool again. Do NOT change the setting of the load valve on the flow meter.
Observe pressure gauge (23) in order to verify that the pressure is 16000 1000 kPa (2320 145 psi).
If the pressure is out of the proper range, adjust the load valve on the flow meter until the pressure gauge indicates 16000 kPa (2320 psi). Repeat Step
