Unusual noises from the hydraulic pump, rough movements in the cylinder rods, and the hydraulic oil contains air bubbles.
Oil aeration occurs because of a loose connection or because of a restriction in the oil lines on the inlet side of the pump.
The oil level is too low.
The cylinders and lines are not fully purged of air.
The hydraulic tank has porous welds or broken baffles.A pause occurs in the increase to full pressure in the circuits.
