Troubleshooting Test Steps Values Results
1. Check the Transmission Oil Level
A. Check the oil level of the transmission.
Oil level
Result: The transmission oil level is OK.
Proceed to Test Step 2.
Result: The transmission oil level is NOT OK.
Repair: Remove the excess oil. Locate the source of the extra oil and make the necessary repairs.
If the problem is not resolved, proceed to Test Step 2.
2. Transmission Oil Cooler
A. Check for high coolant temperature.
Oil cooler
Result: The coolant temperature is OK.
Return to service.
Result: The coolant temperature is NOT OK.
Repair: Refer to troubleshooting without a diagnostic code Troubleshooting, "Coolant Temperature is High".
