Remove the transmission.

Place transmission assembly (1) on suitable cribbing and Tooling (A).

Disconnect hose assembly (2).

Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (4). Remove clips (5).

Attach a suitable lifting device to pump (6). The weight of pump (6) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb). Remove pump (6).

Disconnect hose assemblies (8). Attach a suitable lifting device to steering pump (7) and transmission pump (9). The combined weight of steering pump (7) and transmission pump (9) is approximately 115 kg (254 lb). Remove steering pump (7) and transmission pump (9).

Attach Tooling (B), Tooling (C) , and a suitable lifting device to torque converter (12). The weight of torque converter (12) is approximately 260 kg (573 lb).
Remove bolts (11) and separate torque converter (12) from transmission (10).
