Adaptable To: The 261-3363 Wireless Communication Adapter Gp is not compatible with Tier 4 engines. Use the 171-4401 Communication Adapter As or a newer version of the adapter on all Tier IV engines. Ensure that the latest version of the firmware is installed on the communication adapter. Also, ensure that "Caterpillar Comm adapter II" is selected under the "Preference" section in Cat Electronic Technician (ET).
