Attach a suitable lifting strap and a hoist to air cleaner assembly (5). Remove four bolts (6), the washers and the nuts that secure the air cleaner assembly to the machine frame. Use the hoist in order to remove the air cleaner from the machine. The weight of the air cleaner assembly is 64 kg (140 lb).

Remove bolt (8) and the washer that secures hose clip (7) to the fuel tank.

Remove two bolts (9) that secure hose clips (10) to the fuel tank. Move hoses (11) aside.

Disconnect two fuel hoses (12) from fuel filter (13) .

Disconnect the hose from elbow (14). Remove elbow (14) from the fuel tank.

Remove four bolts (17), four washers (15) and four washers (16) that secure the fuel tank to the machine frame.

Remove nut (20), bolt (21), washer (18) and washer (19) that secures the fuel tank to the machine frame.

Disconnect electrical connector (24) that is on wire assembly (22). Remove retaining strap (23) that secures wire assembly (22) to the retaining ring. Move wire assembly (22) between the fuel tank and the machine frame and to the outside of the machine. Tape the wire assembly to the outside of the fuel tank.

Remove two bolts (26) and the washers that secure guard (25) to the hydraulic tank. The guard can be moved for clearance during the removal of the fuel tank.

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), appropriate lifting straps and a hoist to the fuel tank, as shown. Use the hoist in order to carefully remove the fuel tank from the machine. The weight of the fuel tank is 175 kg (386 lb).

This is one of the mount assemblies on the rear of the fuel tank. Remove any spacers (27), rubber mount (29), and washers (28) that were between the fuel tank and the machine frame. Repeat this step on the other mount assembly.

This is the mount assembly on the front of the fuel tank. Remove rubber mount (31) and any washers (30) that were between the fuel tank and the machine frame.
