Installation Procedure
1. Disconnect and remove 944524 Thermo Switch (7) from its current location. See Illustration 1 and 2 for location.

Use 5P3413 Pipe Sealant as required to prevent leaks.3. Install the thermo switch in plug (5) using 5P3413 Pipe Sealant as required. Tighten the switch to a torque of 34 6 N m (25 4 lb ft).4. Connect one end of harness (4) to switch (7).5. Use band (2) to fasten harness (4) to switch (7). See Illustration 3.
Illustration 3. Location of components.6. Drain the hydraulic tank. Install plug (5), seal (6) and switch (7) in place of the current drain plug and seal in the hydraulic tank.7. Route harness (4) as shown in Illustration 4. Use bands (2) to secure the thermo switch harness to the existing harness.
