A     5P-9736     Link Bracket     2    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install O-ring seals (5) in the oil filter.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to oil filter housing (3) .
Position oil filter housing (3) and install bolts (4) .
Connect harness assembly (2) .

The O-ring seals must be in position in the oil lines. Connect hose assemblies (1) to the oil filter housing.
Install the floorplate.
Check the oil level in the transmission. Refer to the Maintenance Manual for all fluid capacities and for the proper filling procedures.
