There have been a number of isolated instances of the oil level on the 366-4253 Oil Level Gauge Gp (Dipstick) and 366-4254 Oil Level Gauge As above the maximum limit.Solution
Ensure that the engine oil check is within acceptable parameters on the system monitor before the engine is started. The engine oil check is seen when the switch is turned to the correct position and the system monitor runs a pre-check.
Start the engine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Starting" for the correct procedure.Note: Once the engine has started, the engine oil pressure will build on the gauge.
Ensure that the warm-up period for the engine has been followed. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine and Machine Warm Up" for the correct procedure.
Once the warm-up period for the engine has been completed, ensure that the machine is parked. Ensure that the engine is either level or that the engine is in the normal operating position in order to obtain a true level indication. Stop the engine.Note: After the engine has been switched OFF, wait for 10 minutes in order to allow the engine oil to drain to the oil pan before checking the oil level.
Check the engine oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
