A     1P-1864     Retaining ring pliers     1    Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.Lubricate all seals and all rings with clean hydraulic oil.

Install spacer (7) to manifold (1) .

Install six seals (5) and six rings (6) to housing (4) .

Note: Ensure that you do not damage the seals when you install the housing onto the manifold. Lubricate the seals before you attempt to install the housing.
Place housing (4) into position on manifold (1). If necessary, use a hydraulic press or a rubber mallet in order to seat the housing.

Install spacer (3). Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (2) to rotary manifold (1) .End By: Install the rotary manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotary Manifold - Install" for further information.
