BRAKE GP-HYD CALIPER SERVICE 1V2278 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the oil filter. 2. Remove five bolts (1) that hold the inlet and outlet oil tubes to the cylinder block. 3. Remove three bolts (2). Loosen bolt (3).4. Remove the oil filter base and oil tubes as a unit while removing bolt (3).Install Oil Filter Base
1. Put the oil filter base and oil tubes in position.2. Install the four bolts that hold the oil filter base to the oil cooler.3. Install the five bolts that hold the inlet and outlet oil tubes to the cylinder block.4. Install the oil filter.Disassemble Oil Filter Base
start by:a) remove oil filter base 1. Remove bolts (1) and covers (2).2. Remove the springs and plungers.Assemble Oil Filter Base
1. Install plunger (4), spring (3), cover (2) and bolts (1) in the oil filter base. This assembly is the bypass valve for the oil cooler.2.
