Remove the tandem and the cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tandem and Cover - Remove and Install".
Remove bolt (1) and lock (2). Remove nut (3). Remove sprocket (4). Remove sprocket (5). Installation Procedure

Install sprocket (5). Install sprocket (4) and install nut (3) hand tight.
Install the tandem and the cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tandem and Cover - Remove and Install".
Remove cover (6).
Turn the tires while you tighten nut (3). Use Tooling (A) to tighten nut (3) to a torque of 170 N m (125 lb ft).
In order to seat sprocket (4), hit the hub of sprocket (4) with a large punch and hammer.
Repeat the previous two steps until nut (3) does not turn at a torque of 204 N m (151 lb ft).
Loosen nut (3) by one locking position.
Tighten nut (3) to a torque of 102 N m (75 lb ft).
If nut (3) is in a locking position, install lock (2) and install bolt (1). Note: Bolt (1) must be replaced with a new bolt.
If nut (3) is not in a locking position, tighten nut (3) to the next locking position. With nut (3) in the locking position, install lock (2), and install bolt (1).
Install cover (6). Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (7). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 27 7 N m (20 5 lb ft). Fill the tandem housing with oil to the correct level.
