D     8S-9906     Ratchet Puller     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Attach Tooling (D) to Tooling (C) and Tooling (B). Rotating the brake housing allows pinion (12) to point forward. Position the brake housing to the original location. The weight of the final drive assembly is approximately 680 kg (1500 lb).
Install the final drive in the case. Rotate the brake housing until all the bolt holes line up.

Install the bolt and washer (12). Install the bolts and washers (10). Bolt (13) should not have been removed.

Note: Install the remaining bolts (10). Remove Tooling (C) .
Install bolt (10). Install bolt (11). Install two bolt (12) .
Remove Tooling (B). Install two bolts from the top of the sprocket segment.

Position hand rail (9) to the original location. Install bolt (8) on hand rail (9) .

Install the housing and bolts (6) .

Install motor (4A). Install two mounting bolts (5). Connect two hose assemblies (4) .

Install valve (3A). Install bolts (3) .

Connect two hose assemblies (2) .

Install steering control rod (1) .
Install the plate under the seat.
Install the floorplate.
Fill the hydraulic system. The capacity of the hydraulic system is 47.3 L (12.5 US gal)., End By:
Install the axles. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle - Remove and Install".
Install the seat. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblyRENR4276, "Seat - Remove and Install".
Connect the track. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Connect".
