Transmission ECM logs a 590-14 "Engine Control Module: Special Instruction" diagnostic code, upon installation of 550-4079 Muffler/Converter Kit or 552-1759 Conversion Kit and flashing the new T4 migration software of the kit on machines listed above. When this code is logged, the code remains active and cannot be cleared.Solution
In the event of active 590-14 code, machines can be operated "As Is" without any detrimental effect to systems or performance. A software revision to remove the code will be available in the first quarter of 2019.
