Install new water valve assembly (9) onto the bracket. Reconnect the water lines. Refer to Illustration 5 for the proper positioning of the water valve assembly.

Connect 239-9368 Resistor (10) to the 2-pin plug "DT" on 241-7690 Harness (11) .
Connect the 6-pin receptacle "DT" on the 241-7690 Harness to the 6 pin plug "DT" (8) that is located on the machine harness.

Connect the 6 pin plug Packard on the 241-7691 Harness to connector (9) on the water valve actuator.
Connect the 3-pin plug "DT" on the 241-7690 Harness to the 3-pin receptacle "DT" on the 241-7691 Harness .
Secure the wire harness with 3S-2093 Cable Straps .
Enter the cab.

Inside the cab on the right hand console, locate the four Torx screws (12). Remove the four Torx screws (12). Move the panel outward.

Back side of right hand console panel
On the back side of the panel, locate the machine harness connectors that are attached to temperature control (13) for the climate control and 12 volt power supply (14). Disconnect the machine harness connectors from temperature control (13) and 12 volt power supply (14) .Note: Be sure that the battery disconnect switch is in the OFF position.

Connect the 3-pin connectors "DT" of 239-7415 Harness (15) between connector (13) of the temperature control and machine harness connector (16) that was previously disconnected.

Connect the blade terminals of 239-7415 Harness (15) to outlet (14) of the 12 volt power supply and machine harness (16) that was previously disconnected.Note: Wrap terminal ends (16) with electrical tape or the 6V-2690 Heat Shrink Tube in order to prevent the 12 volt power supply contacting the metal frame of the right hand console.

Install the right hand console panel. Install the four Torx screws (12) .
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
Verify that the new water valve assembly works properly by turning on the ignition. Do not start the machine.
Rotate temperature control (13) counterclockwise to the end position. Rotate temperature control (13) clockwise to the end position. Counterclockwise rotation should close the water valve and clockwise rotation should open the water valve. Turn off the ignition.

After the operation of the water valve has been verified, attach panel (2) and tighten bolts (1) to the machine.
Reopen the two water valves at the water pump on the engine.
