BREAKER 5292386 - Caterpillar

Connect one pressure sensor from Tool (A) to forward pressure tap (3) for the front pump. Connect the second pressure sensor to reverse pressure tap (4) for the front pump. Connect the sensors to the digital pressure indicator by using the extension cables.

Loosen lock ring (6) . Rotate needle valve (5) fully clockwise.

Turn speed dial (7) to the MINIMUM position (fully counterclockwise).

Move work mode switch (8) to the ROAD position.
Move load control switch (9) to the OFF position.
Start the engine. Move throttle switch (10) to the HIGH IDLE position. Engine speed should be 2225 75 rpm.

Operate the engine at high idle. Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on oil temperature gauge (11) . Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43° 5.6°C (110° 10°F).
Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.
Move propulsion lever (1) slowly into the full FORWARD position.
Slowly turn speed dial (7) clockwise while observing the pressure at forward pressure tap (3) . After the pressure stabilizes, record the pressure as "forward pressure, front pump".This pressure should be 34475 690 kPa (5000 100 psi).
Turn speed dial (7) to the MINIMUM position.
Move propulsion lever (1) slowly to the NEUTRAL position.
Move propulsion lever (1) slowly to the full REVERSE position.
Slowly turn speed dial (7) clockwise while observing the pressure at reverse pressure tap (4) . After the pressure stabilizes, record the pressure as "reverse pressure, front pump". This pressure should be 34475 690 kPa (5000 100 psi).
Turn speed dial (7) to the MINIMUM position.
Move propulsion lever (1) slowly to the NEUTRAL position.
Move throttle switch (10) to the LOW IDLE position.
If the forward relief pressure is outside the specified range, adjust the forward pressure by using the following procedure in "Adjust (Forward)".If the reverse relief pressure is outside the specified range, adjust the reverse pressure by using the procedure in "Adjust (Reverse)".If the forward pressure and the reverse pressure are inside the specified ranges, go to Step 23.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Stop the engine.
Rotate needle valve (5) fully counterclockwise, and tighten lock ring (6) .
Remove the tooling.Adjust (Forward)
