Refer to the information below.A new damper group is used on 1500 rpm generator sets. This damper provides improved torsional performance and ambient temperature capability.The new 319-8494 Damper Gp is supplied with engine oil through an inlet and a return port in the crankshaft. In order to perform this upgrade, the engine must be equipped with the 315-1391 Crankshaft that is drilled and the engine must use the 247-0308 Flexible Coupling Gp .Refer to Table 1 for a list of parts.Refer to Illustrations 1, 2, and 3.This change is effective with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 2.
