Attach an 8T-0856 Pressure Gauge to the "PPG" pressure tap on the back of a travel brake valve.
Start the engine.
Place the machine controls at the following settings: Power Mode OFF, engine speed dial "10", AEC switch OFF and travel speed control switch RABBIT.Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Operational Checks" for engine rpm settings.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 55° 5°C (131° 9°F).

Move the right travel control lever forward and move the left travel control lever backward. The machine will jerk slightly.
Read the pressure on the pressure gauge. The pressure should be 4140 kPa (600 psi).
Release the control levers.
Use a stopwatch to measure the time that is required for the pressure to drop from 4140 kPa (600 psi) to 2410 kPa (350 psi).
The pressure drop should occur in 3.0 0.5 seconds. If the pressure does not drop in this period of time, perform Step 9.a through Step 9.d.
Park the machine. Remove the swivel guard.

Check the charge pressure of the two-speed accumulator. The pressure should be 2410 100 kPa (350 15 psi).

Loosen locknut (2) of restrictor valve (3) .
Adjust restrictor valve (3) by turning adjustment screw (1) clockwise in order to decrease the time. Turn adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to increase the time.
