PROBLEM
The 2772515/">277-2515 Pump used on certain PM200 and PM102 Cold Planers may fail prematurely due to high motor supply pressure.
The service life of the existing 2772515/">277-2515 Pump can be improved by reducing the hydraulic motor supply pressure before failure.
If the pump should fail prematurely, the supply pressure should be adjusted.

ACTION REQUIRED
Measure the motor supply pressure for the 2772515/">277-2515 Pump and adjust if required. Refer to Special Instruction M0073654 "Procedure to set the washing pressure system on certain PM200 and PM102 Cold Planers." If the pump is leaking oil from the motor or pump and/or is leaking water from the body of the pump, then it may be replaced. If the pump produces no flow and/or produces no pressure when the motor supply pressure is ON and the wand valve is opened, then the pump may be replaced.

Hold all 2772515/">277-2515 Pumps for 30 days for a possible Parts Return Request (PRR). Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. Handle all other parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.
